Professor David Crowe of Augustana College shares the insights that reshaped his understanding of the Vietnam War's impact after having taught Vietnam War literature abroad.

Vietnam War literature is important not only to the Vietnamese people and Americans. It turns out even Norwegian students are fascinated by the stories of the war. Augustana College English professor David Crowe has had the opportunity to teach Vietnam War literature in both Vietnam and Norway, and he will share stories about discoveries that changed his view of the war and its literature.

The World Affairs Council of the QC (WACQC) is non-partisan and a 501(c) (3) organization affiliated with World Affairs Council of America. Visit http://www.wacqc.org/ for more information. Our event is free and open to the public.

This event is part of the Bettendorf Public Library's Global Gathering Vietnam series, which is funded by the Bettendorf Public Library Foundation.
