Ring Shout

Join us for a book discussion of Ring Shout by P. Djèlí Clark

Maryse Boudreaux, a sword-wielding resistance fighter with a magical blade, tracks down Ku Klux Klan members who have become literal, flesh-eating monsters fueled by hate. It is a fast-paced, cinematic mashup of cosmic horror and folklore that explores how hatred transforms people into monsters, and how community, storytelling, and generational trauma can fight back

Get Lit is a book discussion group for those adventurous souls who would like to read a little something different. A limited number of books are available at the Information Desk on a first come basis.

Get Lit meets outside the library at Adventurous Brewing in Bettendorf. Please note Adventurous Brewing is a 21 and older location.
