Join us for a 45-minute lunchtime performance by classical guitarist Peter Fletcher!
Based in Detroit and New York City, Peter’s music has taken him far and wide. He is a sought-after performer in cultural venues throughout the country, and his recordings on the Centaur Records and Towerhill Recordings labels have received critical acclaim.
Peter will present an intimate solo performance that will take you on a journey from the Renaissance period to the 20th Century, featuring music by Bach and a traditional Shaker hymn Peter is especially excited to perform.
When he's not making music, you might find Peter tending to his garden, enjoying a run or a bike ride, or sitting down with a good book—Cervantes, Proust, Faulkner, and Balzac are among his favorites.
We invite you to visit www.peterfletcher.com to learn more about Peter and his music.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch. Coffee and water are provided.
Funding for Brown Bag Lunch performances is provided by the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library.
