Join us for a 45 minute performance by Lojo Russo!
Lojo Russo’s music is as dynamic as the Mississippi River she calls home. From her days growing up in Minnesota to her current home in Iowa, the Mississippi River has always been part of her world. You can hear it in her music, shifting from powerful guitar rhythms punctuated by wailing vocals to intricate fingerpicking, her voice as intense and haunting as her lyrics.
With a self-taught approach and a history filled with bands of all genres, Russo has refined her writing and music into her own free-spirited blend of rhythm and roots.
Feel free to pack a lunch to enjoy during the performance. Coffee and water are supplied.
Funding for Brown Bag Lunch performances is provided by the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library.
