The Crooked Cactus Band is comprised of seven diverse musicians offering the perfect mix of Latin and Classic Rock. For over twenty years, they have offered the Quad Cities a one-of-a-kind blend of music. What sets them apart is the dynamic trumpet section and their ability to fuse Mexican and American music genres. Members of the band include David Navarro, trumpet and vocals; Tony Ramirez, trumpet and vocals; Mike Ortiz, lead guitar and vocals; Paul Palos, bass guitar and vocals; Stephen Ramirez, keyboard and vocals; and Rick Jimenez, percussion.
Attendees are encouraged to bring food and drink. In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the library.
The Summer Concert Series is funded by the Bettendorf Public Library Foundation and supported by Title Sponsors: TBK Bank and the REM Iowa Host Home Program, as well as The Bettendorf Rotary Club and Duck Creek Tire & Service.
