Skill Building Sessions

You can request a reservation for a one-hour appointment with a Library staff member to build your skills.  Skill Building Sessions can be one-on-one, or in small groups.

You can get help with:

  • Libby: the Library's ebook and eaudiobook service
  • Research Assistance: use the Library's online databases or the Library catalog
  • Basic Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Products, Facebook, etc.
  • Laser: the Epilog Fusion Edge 24 Laser Engraver, more information at the Creation Studio page.
  • Cricut: a computer-controlled cutting machines that can cut paper, card stock, vinyl and more
  • Silhouette: a computer-controlled cutting machines that can cut paper, card stock, vinyl and more
  • Sewing Machine: instruction on using the Library's Brother cs6000i
  • Slicing a 3D Print: prepare an .obj or .stl file for printing; more information on 3d printing on the Creation Studio page.

Skill Building Sessions are not available to troubleshoot or repair devices.
