Summer Reading Program

Level Up at Your Library with Reading Challenges and Fun Events for All Ages!

Get ready to level up at your library this summer! The 2025 Summer Reading Program is coming June 9 - August 2 and features fun events and reading challenges for all ages. Online registration will open a week prior to the start of the program on Monday, June 2. Complete your challenge to receive a reward!

The Challenges:

Children's Read-To-Me Challenge: Finish 50 Books

The Read-To-Me Program is for children who mostly listen to stories or read short stories. If they listen to a story or read
a small book, that counts as one book.

Children recieve a wooden quarter good for a FREE 25¢ kids' book from the Friends of the Library Bookshop upon signup, a halfway award, and a book and a raffle entry upon completion of the program.

Children's Reader Challenge: Read 600 Minutes

The Reader Program is for children who are reading mostly independently. As always, parents can decide what is
appropriate for their children and what they want to count as reading.

Children recieve a wooden quarter good for a FREE 25¢ kids' book from the Friends of the Library Bookshop upon signup, a halfway award, and a book and a raffle entry upon completion of the program.

Teen (Grades 6-12) Challenge: Complete one BINGO (or more) on the reading log

Read, participate in library events, or use library resources to fill out your BINGO board!

Teens recieve a book and a raffle entry once they complete a BINGO. Complete additional BINGOs for one additional raffle entry each!

Adult Challenge: Complete four activities on the reading log

Read, participate in library events, or use library resources to complete your log!

Adults receive a voucher for the Friends of the Library Bookshop and a raffle entry for one of ten $50 Amazon gift cards upon completion of the program.
