Journey into the heart of Living Lands & Waters with Mike Coyne-Logan, Senior Program Manager/Education Facilitator, unearthing the history, the mission, and the passion that fuels this organization.

Get a glimpse into the unique and challenging lifestyle of living onboard a barge for most of the year to clean up our rivers. Plus, walk away from this presentation armed with practical steps to incorporate into your everyday life to help our rivers stay clean and to thrive, as well as information on how to get involved with Living Lands and Waters. Together, we can protect our waterways.

Mike Coyne-Logan began as a volunteer for Living Lands and Waters in 2005 and was asked to join the crew in 2007. Mike graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in history and teaching. He lives on the barge 7-9 months out of the year, working as both crew member and classroom educator on the floating classroom.
