Tour Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport with local author and cemetery expert Minda Powers-Douglas.

Minda Powers-Douglas will guide us through Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport, highlighting the symbolism featured on the monuments. We will meet at 5:45 p.m. at the cemetery, 2501 Eastern Avenue, at the main gate near the cemetery office.

Parking is available across the street from the main entrance in the Annie Wittenmyer parking lot.  

The tour will last 1.5 hours. Wear proper shoes for walking on uneven ground, and dress for the weather, as we will be outside. Pre-registration is required and limited to 20 participants.

This event is funded by the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library.
