Washington Irving (1783 – 1859) was an American short-story writer, essayist, biographer, historian, and diplomat. "Rip Van Winkle" was first published in 1819.
Copies of the story are available at the previous month's meeting and then at the Information Desk. Remote attendance is possible; please register in order to have the login information sent to you. If you plan to attend in person, there is no need to register.
