Join us on October 12th at 6:30 to hear the Story of Flaherty's Irish Candy Company told by Denny Flaherty. The story begins 20 years ago in the kitchen of Denny and Joy Flaherty. Armed with family recipes for Irish Toffee, they set out to duplicate the rich, buttery, crisp “melt in your mouth” toffees. They were so successful in their effort to replicate the superior quality of the Irish toffee, family and friends whole heartily encouraged them to bring this amazing treat to market. After much thought and discussion and a few toddies, they embarked on the journey to make The Irish Candy Company a reality and have never looked back!
Dennis and his family hail from Galway, Ireland, which is rich in traditions of good food, music and an energetic spirit. Dennis will share how his heritage influenced how the candy company was developed and plans to share lots of samples of our “tender Irish butter toffees and a few other surprises!”
